Markvise was built from a simple conviction: the information advantages that help large chains dominate local markets should be available to the independent operators who built those markets in the first place.
We started Markvise because we kept seeing the same story play out: capable, dedicated independent operators losing ground not because their product or service was inferior, but because they were operating without visibility into the forces reshaping their market.
Corporate chains invest heavily in market analytics, competitive intelligence, and local market surveillance. That investment gives them a structural advantage that has nothing to do with the quality of the business itself.
Markvise exists to level that playing field. Not by building another software tool that requires hours to configure and interpret — but by delivering intelligence the way a great analyst would: clearly, contextually, and on a schedule that fits how you actually run your business.
We currently serve independently operated businesses across the Pacific Northwest and are expanding to serve markets nationally.
Our methodology draws on frameworks developed in supply chain management, operations research, and competitive strategy — fields that treat information asymmetry as a structural problem to solve, not a complexity to manage. Applied to local business markets, the result is a level of analytical rigor that most independent operators have never had access to.
We work with a select number of businesses at a time. Reach out and we'll respond personally within 2 business days.
